Week 1

Does everybody matter in Appiah's world of cosmopolitanism. What about people within corporate America's supply chains? How would his principles be applied?

Everbody matters in Appiah's world of cosmopolitanism. He explains in the book that people are different but in convesation people always try to find similarities. If everybody didn't matter then their wouldn't be a need for public relations, or at least good public relations. Appiah's philosophy revolves around different cultures and their morals and values. Appiah tries to explain that, what one perceives to be wrong is not seen in the same way by others.

The same prinicples that everyone matters fits well within corporate America. Without one part of the supply chain the other part could not perform. This may not always be reflected by the actions of some corporations.
